Di Emme was commissioned to create a feature of arches with a bespoke finish of textured plaster, aluminium gilding and colour glazes, to infuse the Georges River Sailing Club with Mediterranean style.
Di Emme carefully cut and assembled off-the-shelf lighting extrusion. The underside is painted a specified colour. Dimmable colour-changing LEDs create the desired effect.
Di Emme fabricated a metal sculpture to grace the skylight. The sculpture is a series of mesh shapes punctuated by dropper lights that glow brightly at night and supplement the natural light during the day.
Di Emme provided hand-painted and wallpaper murals for the refurbished Club Heathcote (rebranded The Arbour) that take inspiration from the scribbly gums, Sydney peppermints and bloodwoods in the bushland setting.
