Decorative Finishes Cartier Chatswood Chase

Di Emme continued its relationship with French luxury brand, Cartier, delivering a suite of decorative finishes for the ceilings, curved columns and undulating panels at the Chatswood Chase boutique.

Di Emme worked directly with the Paris-based design team sharing and refining samples across continents. The inventory includes a hand painted starburst in the recessed ceiling above the watch cabinets.   Di Emme applied stencils to the columns and exterior panels to create the distinctive texture. There is also a gold ombre fade on areas of textured plaster, and a textured finished on the bulkhead behind the illuminated store logo.

After an extended sampling process, the timeframe for working on site was compressed. The design echoes other Cartier Oceania boutiques but there are elements distinct to Chatswood Chase.
