Acrylic Blades Light Up Liverpool Club

Lighting designer, Light Studio MG, conceived the colourful lighting array in the gaming area of the Liverpool Catholic Club. The lighting is a clever arrangement of laser-etched acrylic blades.  The blades are top lit with tuneable LEDs.  The laser-etched lines catch the light and reflective tape around the outside captures the illumination.

Light Studio MG and Di Emme prototyped different laser-cut grid patterns to determine which design best caught the light.

Di Emme designed and manufactured the suspension system comprised of aluminium channel with a unique hanging design.  Installation was completed by the onsite electrician to layout documentation provided by Di Emme.
